Carver Hill Gallery is located in Rockland, Maine – one of the most vibrant small-city art communities in the country. The gallery is nestled between The Farnsworth Art Museum (a nationally recognized collection of many of America’s greatest artists including all 3 generations of the Wyeth family, Alex Katz, Robert Indiana and Louise Nevelson), The Strand Theater (offering the best of current independent and world cinema, live and HD performances, international conferences) and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (due to open its state of the art new building across the street in 2016).
Carver Hill has been showing local contemporary fine art from Maine, and many other states in the US, for nearly ten years. The gallery also represents artists from countries including Italy, Argentina, Cuba, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic – and has exclusive US representation for many of its artists. 2D and 3D work from young emerging talent to mid-career and established artists can all be found here. Commissions, corporate sales & installation, and worldwide insured shipping are all welcome and available.
