Gallery

Carver Hill Gallery was founded in 2006, and is owned by Jana Halwick. We pride ourselves in our diverse collection of quality work and our ability to help clients build a collection that they love and want to live with.

Carver Hill is dedicated to showing original fine art from emerging artists to mid-career and established contemporary artists. Our inventory includes abstract and representational painting, sculpture, photography, 22 karat gold jewelry and selected fine furniture pieces by nationally and internationally renowned artists from Maine and around the globe. Several of the artists we have worked with have pioneered their technique, making us a favorite destination for other artists curious about the process. We are committed to building fine art collections and have succeeded in finding artists on their way up, making the purchase a great aesthetic choice as well as a possible savvy long term value choice. We work with an interior designer who specializes in “reorienting” to combine eclectic groupings of meaningful family heirlooms with newer art and furniture our clients have begun collecting. If space is an issue, we are happy to help clients rotate the work on their walls periodically.

Small Business and Corporate Sales
Carver Hill has worked with businesses around the country in purchasing original artwork for their public and private spaces. We are happy to do this remotely or in person. We have shipped all over the U.S. and overseas.

Commission Work
Carver Hill excels in commission work and has designed major jewelry collections, photo realistic portraiture of people and animals, outdoor sculpture, wall art and high-end artisan made furniture for clients. We welcome inquiries for available options and pricing. We have relationships with many more artists than our website represents, please let us know if you seek something you do not see and we will do our best to accommodate you. Thank you for your interest in our gallery.

For Artists Interested in Submitting Work
The gallery’s artists are juried by several people with various, diverse qualifying credentials. The work is accepted by meeting many different criteria including uniqueness, competency, how we feel the work will endure, and what we feel might fill a void in our collection at the time.
